Located just outside of the village San Carlos, Es Figueral is a family-friendly beach which sits directly next to its adjoining beach Aguas Blancas, only separated by an islet attached to the coast, all in the municipality of Santa Eulalia.
Protected by high cliffs, this long stretch of golden sands is well secluded and a tranquil spot to relax and enjoy the expansive waters overlooking the renowned Islet of Tagomago. The area hosts multiple services, water sports, and a couple of authentic beach bars. Here there are also several all-inclusive hotels and a typical tourist resort atmosphere but on a very small and almost cosy scale.
Our two insider tips for this location are the Kayak and Stand-Up Paddle rental, as well as Ibiza’s only Alpaca Farm, Es Currals, which is a great 40 minutes of fun for the big and small.
Living near Es Figueral is ideal for those who are fans of the North-East of the island, with its natural, laid back vibe, it’s countless truly stunning beaches and the intimate web of traditional (many fresh fish) restaurants and local tiendas. The only nearby village being San Carlos and the larger town Santa Eulalia being at a 15km distance, this area is for those who don’t need constant noise and hustle bustle and don’t mind having to use the car to get their amenities.
